A handful of thoughts

After staying without work for three days, I joined another company the one I was supposed to join on the 12th of June. Now this one’s a totally new place, one that is paying me slightly (not ghastly) higher than my earlier job and unlike the earlier places, has given me a separate desk (a toast to my voluntarily raised collar). This place is strange like every office is in its own way. I am among the youngest employees in this office and I am still taking time, settling down. Funnily enough, I hardly talk to anyone outside my department. I haven’t before this ever been to a place where everyone around me always talked about money and that too in lakhs. I know it is those ‘lakhs’ that will bring me my salary cheque at the end of the month, but even then, I  need some time.
