You know, “poetry doesn’t belong to those who write it; it belongs to those who need it.”
There’s no particular REASON for my quoting this. I came across this quote while browsing the internet and was struck by its authenticity. Rarely do people succeed in making comments that come true for such a large cross section of an emotionally high strung populace- the lovers of poetry who are unable to produce any. And given the agony of multitudes likes us who cannot produce a word of the very thing they live by, this quote quite pinned me down.
