Confession

I am a weak woman you see.
Forgive me, this weak and foolish woman

I have only learned to stand by you
Forgive my ignorance, my bliss and my foolhardiness
Forgive me because I never saw reason
Forgive me because I learned to rely on you
Forgive me because I see your face
When I close my eyes at the end of […]

Muse

In this part of the story,
I will be the poet, and you my muse.
I’ll draw my inspiration from
Your chestnut brown lips,
Your curved moustache

With half a cycle of the moon
The spring is over and so is the swan’s song
In my empty room -
That crystal ballerina on […]

Fortune Teller

In those crystal balls just beneath your forehead
I’ve seen my fortune
I saw disaster,
Shards of a broken heart,
Two bruised feet
And some fleeting pleasure.
I saw us walk hand in hand
By that weeded path
Towards the forked crossroads
Where we’ll part ways;
That lilac coloured day -
When I’ll rejoin life.
